The High Street
Hampton Hill High Street runs from the edge of Bushy Park towards Fulwell, lined with independent shops, restaurants and cafes. It is a nice place to spend an evening, and a car home saves the walk in the dark or the wait for a bus. Typical drive times from the High Street are about 10 to 15 minutes to central Twickenham and 5 to 10 minutes to Teddington.
Hampton Hill Theatre
Hampton Hill Theatre is a busy community theatre just off the High Street, used by local amateur companies. Audiences come from across the borough, and performances often end in the late evening. If you are going to a show, you can book your ride home in advance, and we will be waiting when it finishes.
Bushy Park on the doorstep
One side of Hampton Hill looks straight onto Bushy Park, with its deer and open grassland. Many locals walk dogs there every day. If you have a dog that needs to get to the vet, a groomer or kennels, our pet friendly taxi can help.
Stations nearby
Hampton Hill does not have its own station. Fulwell station is close to the eastern end, and Hampton and Teddington stations are both nearby. For longer train journeys, we can take you straight to a central London station like Waterloo or Euston, without changing trains on the way.
Airports from Hampton Hill
Heathrow is usually 20 to 30 minutes away, depending on your terminal and traffic. For holiday flights from Gatwick, allow around 45 to 65 minutes. On return trips we track your flight and can meet you in arrivals. See our Heathrow taxi page for more.
Getting the whole group there
If your family or group is travelling together, our 6 seater taxi and 7 seater taxi make one trip instead of two.

Hampton Hill sits between Hampton and Teddington, with Whitton and Twickenham to the north-east. See all our areas we cover.
Local trips from Hampton Hill
Hampton Hill has everyday shops along its High Street, but for bigger shops or appointments many residents head to Teddington, Twickenham or Kingston. We take Hampton Hill residents to doctors, dentists and hospital appointments, as well as shopping trips and visits to friends and family across the borough.
Evenings on the High Street
The High Street's restaurants and pubs make it a popular spot for evenings out. If you are coming from elsewhere in the borough, we can drop you off and collect you at the end of the night.
Getting to Teddington and Twickenham stations
Hampton Hill does not have its own railway station, so most residents use Fulwell, Hampton or Teddington. A short taxi to the station can save a long walk, especially with luggage or small children. We are also happy to collect you from the station after an evening train. For trips further afield, a direct car to Waterloo or Victoria avoids changing trains with heavy bags. If you are not sure which station is best for your journey, give us a call and we will help you decide.
Late nights and early mornings
Buses along the High Street thin out late in the evening and start slowly on Sunday mornings. If you have an early shift, a first flight or a late train back into Fulwell, book a car the day before. Our drivers know the side roads between the High Street and Bushy Park, so they can find your door without fuss, even when house numbers are hard to see in the dark. For trips further out, our Heathrow run from Hampton Hill is one of the shorter airport journeys we do.
