Who books a 6 seater?
The families and groups who book our MPV usually fall into a few groups:
- Families going on holiday, who want everyone in one car with the luggage.
- Groups of friends going to a match, a concert, a party or a night out.
- Colleagues travelling to a meeting or an event together.
- Parents sharing a school run, where several children travel together.
One vehicle is simpler than two. Everyone arrives at the same time, you only pay one fare, and nobody is left waiting for the second car.
How much luggage fits?
This is the question we are asked most. An MPV with all six seats in use has less boot space than a saloon with four people. If six of you are going to the airport with a large suitcase each, the luggage may not all fit. In that case, a 7 seater taxi with more space, or a 6 seater plus an estate, might be better.
When you book, tell us exactly how many people, how many large cases, how many cabin bags and anything unusual like a pushchair, golf clubs or a car seat. We will tell you honestly whether it fits, before the day.

Popular 6 seater journeys
Our MPV is busiest on airport runs. Families from Twickenham head to Heathrow and Gatwick every week, especially in the school holidays. It is also popular for match days at Twickenham Stadium, where a group can travel together to or from a nearby pub, restaurant or hotel. Child seats
Child seats are available on request. Please tell us how many you need and the ages of the children, because seats also take up space and can affect how many adults fit.
Fixed fares for the whole group
The fare is for the vehicle, not per person, and it is fixed when you book. Sharing it between six often works out well compared with separate cars or train tickets. You can pay by card or cash.
Match days and group nights out
Twickenham Stadium brings groups of friends together for rugby internationals and concerts. A 6 seater is a popular way to get a group to a pub or restaurant before the event, or home again afterwards. Roads around the stadium close, so we agree a pickup point outside the closed area. Book early for big events, as larger vehicles get booked up quickly.
Making the most of one larger car
A single 6 seater is often simpler than two saloons. Everyone arrives together, there is one fare to agree, and one driver to deal with. It also means one set of luggage to load, which saves time at busy terminals. Groups who book two small cars often find that one arrives early and one late, which is stressful when there is a flight to catch.
When you book, tell us the number of adults, children and cases, and whether anyone needs a child seat. If you have golf bags, pushchairs, a wheelchair that folds or musical instruments, mention them too. For more than six passengers, or six with a lot of luggage, our 7 seater taxi may suit you better. Many 6 seater bookings are families going on holiday from Isleworth and Feltham, or groups heading to the Stansted for a weekend away.
Wedding guests and family gatherings
A 6 seater is a practical choice for wedding parties, christenings and family celebrations. Book one car to take the bridesmaids to the venue, or to bring grandparents from the station.
