Feltham and Heathrow
From Feltham, Heathrow is typically 10 to 20 minutes away. Terminal 4, on the south side, is usually quickest, reached via Hatton Cross. The central terminals and Terminal 5 take a little longer. We track flights on return trips and can meet you in the arrivals hall. See our Heathrow taxi page for more about terminals.
Plenty of Feltham residents work at or around the airport. If you need a lift for an early or late shift, we run 24/7.
Feltham station
Feltham station is on the line between Reading and Waterloo. It is useful for trips into London, but not always easy with luggage or at very early hours. We collect from the station and take you home, or to anywhere the trains do not reach easily.
Town centre and local trips
Feltham's town centre, with its shopping centre and High Street, is the hub for most local errands. A car saves carrying heavy shopping home. Typical drive times from Feltham are about 15 to 20 minutes to central Twickenham and 10 to 15 minutes to Hounslow, depending on traffic.
Hanworth and the M3
Hanworth, on the south side of Feltham, is close to where the A316 meets the M3 at Sunbury. That makes Feltham a good starting point for trips south and west, including Gatwick via the M3 and M25. Hanworth Park is a large green space for walks. Bedfont Lakes Country Park, on the Bedfont side, is another favourite.
Families and groups
Feltham families heading on holiday often book our 6 seater taxi or 7 seater taxi so everyone travels together. If you need regular help with getting children to school, our school run taxi is available too.
Nearby areas
Feltham borders Hounslow to the north-east and Whitton to the east, with Hampton to the south. See all our areas we cover.
Feltham and Bedfont
Bedfont, on Feltham's western edge, sits very close to Heathrow's southern perimeter. It is home to many airport workers and hotels. Bedfont Lakes Country Park, with its lakes and walking trails, is a quiet spot for a weekend walk. We cover Bedfont for local trips and airport runs alike.
Local appointments
Feltham residents often need to get to West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth, or to GP and dental appointments across the area. We can take you and bring you home, and if your appointment runs over, just call us to move the pickup.
Shopping trips
Feltham's town centre covers most everyday shopping. For bigger trips, Hounslow and Kingston are a short drive away. A car there and back saves carrying bags on the bus.
Getting to Heathrow for work
Feltham is home to many people who work at Heathrow, in the cargo areas, hotels and terminals. Shift start and finish times often fall outside peak bus hours, so a booked car can be the most reliable way to get there. If you need a regular pickup for early or late shifts, call us to talk through a repeat booking. We will confirm the times, the pickup point and the fare in advance. For holidays, our Heathrow taxi service takes you straight to your terminal with your luggage.
Coming home to Feltham
Arriving back at Heathrow after a long flight, the last thing most people want is a bus with heavy cases. Book your return with us and give us your flight number, and a driver will be waiting when you land. From the terminals, Feltham is a short drive, usually along the southern perimeter roads rather than through the busier town routes. The fare is fixed at booking, so a delay on the runway will not change what you pay. We also collect from Gatwick for Feltham residents flying from the south.
